Well, Read an Ebook Week (it must have been a success, as the site had crashed under the traffic when I checked) has come and gone for another year, but now comes the good part: giving away the prizes.

Those who have been paying attention will remember that we promised to give away three ebook vouchers to the value of $50 – to be spent in our burgeoning ebookstore

All you had to do was tweet, comment or link to Bookbee during the week to go into the running and each comment or mention was an entry. And enter they did – with multiple entries paying off for some. Thanks to all for staying in touch, and keep an eye out for more competitions coming up!

So, a promise is a promise. The winners chosen at random across comments, tweets, Facebook and backlinks are:

1. Jaime Janer, who runs a Spanish/English general news site La Salamandra via a site.

Cheers, Jaime. Your retweets paid off! (I’m not sure if he even knew he was in the running.)

2. Coral – she seems to be a new(ish) reader of the site

First-timer Coral got lucky (and got her wish). Well done, Coral.

3. Nate the Great of The Digital Reader fame

Nate probably won through sheer number of linkbacks from his site. But all is fair in love and ebooks. Nice, Nate.

Each wins a $50 voucher to spend on independent authors’ work at Author Direct.
