- JD's View
Regular readers might have noticed that things look a bit different around here. I’ve recently been thinking about the news posts I’ve been doing and whether they should be linked to the “straight” ebook news from around the web, or stand alone.
Obviously, looking at the revised layout hereabouts, I’ve decided to aggregate the best ebook news sources from around the interwebs, and comment separately in what is a bit like a “column” in the printed media.
After all, I can’t hope to cover the news better than the 13 other ebook news sources that now appear on the Bookbee front page. Naturally, I will post on anything I hear on the ebook gravevine first, or news that doesn’t find its way into the other sites.
But this sidebar blog will be mainly my views on the news, and possibly a little bit of bitching into the bargain. We all like to do that from time to time.
Whether this is better or worse, we’re about to find out, and I know you the reader will tell me, which I’m hoping you do.
Another change to the site that will be coming soon, is that I’ll be trying to incorporate all three of my ebooks sites (the other two being AuthorDirect.net and EbookAnt.com into this one. One is a small self-publishing site and the other a search engine that crawls all major ebookstores.
There are a few technical problems standing in the way, but once these are squashed, the aim is to provide a one-stop-shop for ebook users.
And make all of our lives easier.
